Los Angeles
These photos all take place in Southern California, Los Angeles. The home of, The Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, The Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Getty, Venice Beach, LACMA and so much more. In these images however we see the simplicity of a complex lifestyle. On the left we have “Shadows of the Dark” in black and white, although less is more in that aspect we have multiple lines creating a path way which makes you question what they could be up to. Although silhouettes are usually a pitch black figure in the image above “Silhouette 2” we can still see some of his features which adds character to this photo. In the photo below “Lines n’ Roses” in the middle, the lines of architecture create an amazing illusion which make you focus on the model. In the photo to the right,”Beauty in Construction”. There is always construction going on in California and you can see how the poles can make for an interesting picture though construction can be distracting at times. With all of this said, Photography can be used to capture certain aspects. Even the most bland of settings can make for gorgeous pictures.
